HEM Research Center, a member of the LCI Education group, is proud to host the 2025 edition of the Workshop on Export Management, a prestigious event organized annually by ESCE Paris (OMNES Education group). Since its inception in 2017, this workshop has become a flagship gathering, bringing together leading researchers, doctoral students, and professionals to explore best practices and advancements in export management.
This closed-door event will welcome 25 carefully selected participants from diverse nationalities. Over the years, the workshop has hosted distinguished figures in international trade, such as Leonidas Leonidou, Professor of Marketing and former Dean of the School of Economics and Management at the University of Cyprus, José Plà-Barber, Professor of International Business at the University of Valencia, and François Perret, President of the PACTE PME Association.
Previously held in major European cities such as Paris, Nancy, and Fribourg (Switzerland), the 2025 edition marks a historic milestone as it will be hosted for the first time outside Europe, in Rabat, Morocco. This choice underscores Morocco’s growing influence in academic research and HEM Research Center’s commitment to fostering strong international collaborations.
By hosting this event, through its Chair in International Management and Society, HEM Research Center affirms its commitment to advancing global research in international management and further strengthens its role as a hub for intellectual and strategic discussions on key international business topics.
A key highlight of this edition will be the participation of Dr. Ghasem Zaefarian, Associate Professor of Marketing at Leeds University Business School, who will provide valuable insights into Business Model Innovation in international business. Additionally, Mohammed Benjelloun, Expert Consultant at AMDIE - Moroccan Investment and Export Agency, will bring his extensive expertise on Moroccan exports, offering an in-depth analysis of their current status, emerging trends, and strategic ambitions.
More than just an event, this exclusive workshop is a unique opportunity for dialogue, innovation, and reflection on the challenges and opportunities shaping the future of exporting companies.
