HEM Research Center, a member of LCI Education, in partnership with ESCE, ATLAS AFMI, ULCO (Université du Littoral Côte d'Opale), and LEM (Lille Economics Management), is delighted to announce the 7th Workshop on Export Management. This event offers researchers, practitioners, and scholars an opportunity to shape the future of export management. This year’s workshop will focus on the transformative impact of digitalization and its crucial role in optimizing supply chains in today’s interconnected global economy.

We invite contributions on a range of topics, including but not limited to:

• Impact of Global Crises: Examining how recent global crises (e.g., health and economic) influence export strategies and market access.
• Geopolitical Tensions: Analyzing the effects of conflicts and wars on export policies, supply chain management, and international trade agreements.
• Digitalization in Export: Investigating how digital technologies (e.g., e-commerce, AI, blockchain) are reshaping export practices and management.
• Sustainability in Export: Exploring the integration of sustainability into export strategies and its influence on consumer behavior.
• Trade Policies and Regulations: Reviewing the impact of evolving trade agreements, tariffs, and regulations on exporters.
• Risk Management in Exports: Developing frameworks for managing risks in volatile export markets, including political, economic, and environmental risks.
• Cultural Challenges: Studying the cultural dimensions of exporting and their effects on negotiations, market entry, and customer relationships.

We are honored to feature Professor Ghasem Zaefarian, Associate Professor of Marketing at Leeds University Business School, as our keynote speaker. With his expertise in international marketing, he will provide invaluable insights into managing the complexities of export in a digital era.

For the first time, ESCE, in partnership with us, is co-organizing the workshop outside Europe, in Rabat, Morocco - a country leading the way in industrial transformation and digitalization. The event will be held at our research center at HEM Business & Engineering School, providing a vibrant setting to explore Morocco’s pivotal role in global trade.
